Results of International Partners' Week in Arts and Humanities
The St Petersburg School of Arts and Humanities presented the Centre for Russian Language and Culture and held negotiations with universities in Japan, Egypt, Turkey, and Brazil. The School of Art and Design agreed to create joint installations with the Turkish university, international exchanges and fashion shows with international partners. Deans and staff of the schools summed up the results of the International Partners' Week.
'Each Day Here Was a Discovery': Participants of the International Partners' Week on St Petersburg, Science and New Collaborations
The large-scale international forum gathered representatives from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America in St Petersburg. Apart from the intense business programme with expert discussions, signing of agreements and creating international collaborations, the guests of HSE University-St Petersburg got to know the cultural heritage of the Northern capital—saw the city from Neva, visited the Hermitage, Tsarskoye Selo and other significant sights.
'Fashion Forward': HSE University-St Petersburg Holds Fashion Show of Young Designers
During the International Partners' Week, the Rope Shop building hosted the fashion show of the graduates of the School of Art and Design—master's track 'Creating a Fashion Brand' and bachelor's programme 'Fashion Design'—under the supervision of Leonid Alekseev, curator and founder of the brand 'House of Leo'.
Special Issue of Projector Journal Released on Design in St Petersburg and Istanbul
On September 1 in St Petersburg and September 13 in Istanbul, Mitya Kharshak, Head of the HSE University-St Petersburg Art and Design School and famous designer and publisher, will present the latest issue of the Projector journal devoted to Turkish design.
